Skunk River
The Skunk River is a popular southeast Iowa river, depending on the water levels. A nice day paddle is from Oakland Mills (Faulkners Access) to Lowell (Stevenson Park). Paddlers interested in a two day paddle can start or camp at the Oakland Mills area near Mt. Pleasant. Click for more about Oakland Mills.
Most trips will start by meeting us in Lowell to park cars.
