A Prijon classic, the Catalina is designed to be the preferred vessel of the smaller paddler and those seeking full open water performance in a smaller package. At just over 15 foot the Catalina is light to carry and car top and easy to accelerate. It's low deck height makes for easy boat control and rolling, even for smaller framed paddlers. Combining very high secondary stability and comfortable initial stability, the aggressively trimmed hull ensures this craft's speed and responsiveness. The Catalina features adjustable seat, thigh brace and back brace for comfortable extended expeditions. Hatches, bow & stern, combine neoprene, hard plastic and quick-release webbing straps for dry, easy use. The deck pack net organizes those small essential items and the well-placed deck straps are designed for effective self-rescue.
