GEODE STATE PARK - local state park with lake for canoeing, kayaking, swimming. Hiking trails, bike paths, picnics, camping. 

BIG HOLLOW RECREATION AREA - 178 acre lake with swim beach, fishing, jetties, boat ramp. Shooting range, camping, trails.

THE PZAZZ COMPLEX -CATFISH BEND CASINO - Casino, restaurants and adult hotel adjoining Fun City.  FUN CITY - family fun stay with inside and outside waterpark, bowling, pool, billards, restaurants, etc.

SNAKE ALLEY AND SNAKE ALLEY CRITERIUM- the crookedest street in the world. The Criterium is an annual memorial day weekend of bike races around downtown and up the alley. Snake Alley Art Fair is Father's Day.

BEES BASEBALL- Burlington's minor league team.

CAPITAL THEATER - Beautifully restored theater in downtown Burlington runs regular movies, music events and hosts special events.

THE DRAKE RESTAURANT- A view of the river, the Drake features locally raised game such as Buffalo, Elk and duck. Some features are smoked in the wood fired ovens.
