The Skunk River is a popular southeast Iowa river, depending on the water levels. A nice day paddle is from the boat ramp in Lowell to Indian Park Path just before the Hwy 61 bridge. Paddlers interested in a two day paddle can start or camp at the Oakland Mills area near Mt. Pleasant.
